The Best Low Carb Vegetables

Here is a chart of the best low carb vegetables for those on a low carb diet. This useful guide allows you to choose your own best low carb vegetables based on your personal preferences and daily carb limit.

Most vegetables that are not on this list are too high in carbohydrate for those on a low carb or ketogenic diet. This includes most vegetables that grow underground (carrots, parsnips, potatoes and sweet potatoes), as well as beans, peas and winter squashes, which are too high in carbohydrates to qualify as "best low carb vegetables". I have included a few at the bottom of the list for comparison, however. If you choose to eat them, reduce the portion sizes so you can stay under your personal daily carb limit.
